Off-Grid Commercial Solar System – Gas Dispensary Station
Sato Engineering Services Ltd delivered an off-grid commercial solar-energy system for a gas dispensary station in Benin City, Edo State.
The project was developed to provide the facility with an independent source of electricity capable of supporting its operational equipment and general electrical loads without depending primarily on the public electricity grid.
The system supplies power to two gas engines, a pumping machine, socket outlets, and lighting points within the facility.
Scope of Work
- Assessment of the station's operational electrical loads.
- Engineering and sizing of the off-grid solar system.
- Selection and sourcing of suitable solar equipment.
- Installation of the inverter system.
- Installation of lithium battery storage.
- Installation of the solar-panel array.
- Integration with the gas station's electrical distribution system.
- Connection of operational and auxiliary loads.
- System testing and commissioning.
Project Significance
This project demonstrates Sato Engineering's capability to develop commercial off-grid energy systems for facilities with operational loads that require dependable electricity.
By combining solar generation, energy storage, and inverter technology, the installation gives the gas dispensary station a dedicated electricity source capable of supporting both equipment operation and general facility services.
